- Prime using Leadbelcher
- Paint areas that will be covered in red using Basilicanum Grey
- Paint red areas using Flesh Tearers Red
- Use Rakarth Flesh to paint the tabard and any other cloth.
- Wash tabard and cloth with Drakenhof Nightshade
- Use White Scar to paint the gems and tabard details (Tzeentch symbols, etc)
- Use Guilliman Blue to paint the now white gems and other white areas.
- Use Bone White on bird skulls.
- Wash skulls with Seraphim Sepia
- Wash the remaining leadbelcher with Nuln Oil
