How I paint these elven warriors from GW's Lord of the Rings range.

Basecoating

1. Prime the model light grey or white

Golden Armour

1. Base the armour in Retributor Armour
2. Wash it with Reikland Fleshshade
3. Highlight or drybrush with Auric Armour Gold
4. Add Liberator Gold to the very edges corners of the armours trim.

Blue Cloth

1. Base with Caledor Sky
2. Wash with Drakenhof Nightshade
3. Highlight or drybrush with Teclis Blue
4. Edge highlight with Lothern Blue

Red Cloth

1. Base with Mephiston Red
2. Wash with Carroburg Crimson
3. Highlight or drybrush back up with Mephiston Red again.

Blonde Hair

1. Base with Ceramite White
2. Wash with Seraphim Sepia
3. (Optional) highlight with Dorn Yellow

Leather

1. Base with Rhinox Hide
2. Wash with Agrax Earthshade

Wooden Weapons -Bow/spear

1. Base with Dryad Bark
2. Wash with Agrax Earthshade

Metal

1. Base with Ironbreaker
2. Highlight with Stormhost Silver
