My recipe for a warm (and worn) leather.

A simpler, less ruddy leather recipe is included in my Salamanders tutorial here: https://paintpad.app/recipes/2325-salamanders-v0-9

  1. Basecoat with Hull Red
  2. Add scratchy highlights and stippling with Orange Leather
  3. Add further scratchy highlights with a 2:1 mixture of Orange Leather : Deck Tan , mainly focusing on the edges
  4. Add another highlight with a 1:1 mix of Orange Leather : Deck Tan
  5. Glaze in some shadows using Arbuckles Brown
  6. Glaze over all of the leather with Burnt Umber
