Contrast+ Style

Skin and Scales

1. Prime in Wraithbone
2. 1:1 mix of Frostheart and Contrast Medium Paints chest, face and underside of tail
3. 4:1 mix of Akhelian Green and Contrast Medium cover all the Scales, legs and arms and head
4. 1:1:1 mix of Akhelian Green and Ultramarine Blue and Contrast Medium cover all scales, arms legs and head.
5. Using same mix cover underside of tails and chest, neck and face. Wash brush and feather/blend it back into the scales. Go section by section, do not let contrast paint dry
6. Use Stormfiend straight from the pot and go over all the hard scales.
7. Drybrush all scales and flesh with Lothern Blue
8. Drybrush the sharper points with Baharroth Blue
9. Thin Blue Horror and use on 'whiter' areas of underside. Spot highlight sharpest areas on scales.

Extra Details

1. Cleanup the Rope, and mouth using Wraithbone
2. Use Flesh Tearers Red for the rope.
3. Use Volupus Pink for the tongue and mouth
4. Use Ivory to highlight the teeth
5. Use Bloodreaver Flesh for Stone parts, like the standard.
6. Use Cygor Brown for any wood, including drum
7. Use Skeleton Horde for drum skin
8. Highlight tongue and mouth with Fulgrim Pink
9. Paint the teeth and eyeballs in Screaming Skull
10. Use small amount of Flesh Tearers Red on the eyeballs.

Shields

1. Base the Stone in Dawnstone
2. Wash the Stone in Targor Rageshade
3. Use 1:1 mix of Dawnstone and Administratum Grey to fill in the shield, leave recesses with darker colour
4. Use Ulthuan Grey to highlight sharp edges and create scratch marks.

Gold Parts

1. Base in Retributor Armour
2. Wash the gold with Guilliman Flesh

Spear Head and Swirly Parts

1. Base them in Black
2. Thick edge highlight Dark Reaper
3. Fine edge highlight Russ Grey
