- Prime Chaos Black
- Overbrush Thrash Metal (make sure to hit the ammo case included on the base)
- Coat the entire model in Vallejo Environment Rust Texture
- Drybrush Thrash Metal
- Light drybrush Speed Metal
- Stipple Waaagh! Flesh on the ammo case.
- Accent the backpack powercells with Agrax Earthshade
- Darken the Machine Gun and ammo case with a coat of Basilicanum Grey , and also use this in any recesses or darker armour panels.
- Coat the inner suit, rifle grip and bear with Steel Legion Drab , then wash them with Agrax Earthshade
- Paint Mephiston Red stripes as per the in-game model
