This is my Genestealer Cult Prison World Army.
- Prime with Grey Seer with a zenithal highlight of White Scar
- Basecoat the skin with Seraphim Sepia directly over the prime. Add Carroburg Crimson to shade the faces further, along with the vents in the limbs.
The arms and feet get a purple tone by feathering Magos Purple back into the Sepia, and this is also applied to all tentacles and exposed brain. - The rocks on the base get a basecoat with Black Templar , with the rims completed using Black Legion
The metal on the bases starts from Garaghak's Sewer , as do any and all metal components on the models themselves - Gun casings, weapon casings, and the Enforcers' armour receive a basecoat of Death Reaper .
- In the case of Brood Brother Units, the armour starts from Skavenblight Dinge
- Horns and claws are basecoated with a 50/50 mix of Black Templar and Flesh Tearers Red Any bones and teeth receive a coat of Vampire Fang
- Any leather details such as belts and boots start with a coat of Gore-grunta Fur
- Prison Uniforms start with a coat of Gryph-hound Orange . Any other fabric starts from Wizard Grey
- The brass portions of the metal start with Runelord Brass over the brown basecoat, with the silver details receiving a mix of 33/33/33 Rhinox Hide , Abaddon Black and Aluminum
- At this point, all non-organic portions of each miniature are shaded with Nuln Oil
- Casings are then highlighted with The Fang . The brass is highlighted with Liberator Gold . Where necessary, our metal mix is used to bring the silver back up. The rocks are drybrushed with Wizard Grey . Brood Brother armour panels are highlighted with Dawnstone Any tanks and wires can be filled in with Flesh Tearers Red
- Prison uniforms are highlighted with Troll Slayer Orange , while the grey fabric is highlighted first with a 50/50 mix of Wizard Grey and Carcharodon Grey , followed by a smaller highlight of Carcharodon Grey . On thinner sections such as the strips on the Metamorphs, we can skip the 50/50 mix.
- The skin is highlighted with Pallid Wych Flesh , while the horns and claws receive highlights of Mephiston Red . Any bones are brought back up with Vampire Fang , while the Pallid Wych Flesh is also applied sparingly to the teeth. If there are any highlights required on tanks or wires, Mephiston Red can also be used here.
- Where needed, the Armour plates and casings are extreme highlighted with Fenrisian Grey , and the Brood Brothers armour panels with Carcharodon Grey
- AK Interactive Wet Ground and AK Moss are applied to the bases, followed by a spray of Munitorum Varnish
- After the varnish, the water is filled in with AK Interactive Puddles.
This is more a guide I can keep referring back to more than a thing I expect anyone else to actually use :P
