Priming
- Prime using Vallejo Black Surface Primer
- Make a Zenithal highlight using Tamiya Flat White (thinned using Tamiya thinners)
- I've chosen to do 3 sub assemblies: the base, the head and the body
Cloak
- Base coat the cloak using Baharroth Blue
- Create a 1:4 parts glaze using Gauss Blaster Green and water. You want this very very thin.
- Paint the glaze over the Baharroth Blue starting two thirds of the way up the cloak, leaving Baharroth Blue on the shoulders
- Keep painting the glaze going further and further down the cloak with each pass. This will ensure a smooth transition and a nice opaque coat of the Gauss Blaster Green on the bottom third of the cloak.
- Glaze in some shadows using a 3:1 mix of Baharroth Blue and Corvus Black
- For the inside of the cloak, use Wraithbone (keeping the mini off the base will enable easy access to the inside of the cloak.
Armour and Boots
- Base the armour using Corvus Black
- Highlight using Eshin Grey
- Highlight using Skavenblight Dinge
Leather
- Base using Mournfang Brown
Runes and Trim
- Base the runes using Retributor Armour
- Coat this with Reikland Fleshshade
- Build the base back up slightly using Retributor Armour
