Basecoat the model in any black primer.

Cloak & Shield

  1. Basecoat in Caliban Green
  2. Mix Caliban Green Abaddon Black Rhinox Hide 2:1:1 and glaze the recesses of the cloak and in the shield.
  3. Mix Caliban Green and Loren Forest approx 1:1, glaze raised areas of the cloak, remember to leave room for both pure Caliban Green and the recess mix. For the shield, do a chunky highlight with this color. This means that it is easies to keep one part of the mix "normal" consistency and one part more watery for the glaze.
  4. Add more Loren Forest to the 2nd mix, and glaze less and less of the raised areas. Cloak only. This step can be reapeated.
  5. Edge highlight shield with Nurgling Green , you can do this for sharp parts of the cloak too if you want.

Caucasian skin

  1. Base in Cadian Fleshtone 2 or more layers usually required
  2. Wash with Reikland Fleshshade
  3. Go back with Cadian Fleshtone , avoid recesses
  4. Add Pallid Wych Flesh in to your Cadian Fleshtone approx 1:1 and paint raised areas, repeat this step if you want.

Blonde hair

  1. Base in Zandri Dust
  2. Wash with Reikland Fleshshade
  3. Mix Screaming Skull in to the Zandri Dust approx 1:1 and paint raised areas, repeat this step if you want.

Shield emblem

  1. Base in Wraithbone , multiple coats will be required
  2. Glaze multiple layers of Seraphim Sepia towards the bottom part

Brown leather

If you want a more in detail version, go to https://paintpad.app/r/rY

  1. Base in Rhinox Hide
  2. Glaze Mournfang Brown towards edges. For areas which are quite "complicated", make the glaze dry in order to avoid the recesses part. As opposed to the cloak, adding texture here is encouraged.
  3. Chunky highlight with Skrag Brown
  4. Mix Ushabti Bone approx 1:1 into the Skrag Brown and make a thinner highlight

Red cloth

Depending on how much/little red there is on the model, these steps can probably be simplified and some skipped.

  1. Base Khorne Red
  2. Mix Khorne Red and Rhinox Hide approx 1:1 and glaze recessed areas.
  3. Glaze raised areas with Mephiston Red
  4. Glaze raised areas with Evil Sunz Scarlet

Wood

Highlights: For the spears and bows paint lines using the edge of the brush. For the back of shields, use the side of the brush and make sure that the brush is dry enough so that the paint avoids the recesses.

  1. Base in Dryad Bark
  2. Chunky highlight with Gorthor Brown
  3. Highlight with Baneblade Brown

Metal

  1. Base in Gunmetal Metallic or Leadbelcher
  2. Wash with Nuln Oil
  3. Chunky highlight with Ironbreaker
  4. Highlight with Chrome Metallic or Stormhost Silver

Gold

  1. Base in Gunmetal Metallic or Leadbelcher , or skip this step.
  2. Base in Retributor Armour
  3. Wash with Reikland Fleshshade
  4. Add Chrome Metallic or Stormhost Silver to the Retributor Armour and highlight

Bonus: Basing

  1. Base in Rhinox Hide
  2. Drybrush Mournfang Brown
  3. Light drybrush Baneblade Brown
  4. Paint rocks using Dawnstone Agrax Earthshade Administratum Grey
  5. Paint rim: Steel Legion Drab
  6. Add fitting static grass
