This is a reminder to myself of my current method of painting Salamanders; I'll probably tweak it as I go as I discover ways to achieve the same effects more efficiently; There's a lot of models to get through! This is an attempt to paint to a high tabletop standard; I'm not aiming to just get the models done as quickly as possible, and I want to enjoy the process and have an army to be proud of.
I'll add photos later on, as some of the descriptions below might not be entirely clear.
As is usual with my methods, this may be wildly overcomplicated and use a lot of different paints, but I can't resist experimenting with new toys!
Not really a model specific guide as my template for my Entire DG army. these models are heavy with rust and effects. So be cautious and what order you do so you don't get rust on stuff where it doesn't belong such as tentacles and robes. Just a word of advice
this is a good article for alot of stuff if you want to swap in and out effects and such

Painting guide for death guard, specifically used for the Plague Marine Kill Team
My Pallid Hand scheme mostly based on Duncan Rhodes' YT video with my own twist on the nurgly bits, cloth and horns! I figured it'd be good to write it down in case I forgot and I had a lot of people on Reddit ask how it's done so figured this might make things easier :D
Star Wars Legion ARC Trooper done in a orange as an alternative to 212th orange/yellow scheme.
How I painted the new Imotekh the Stormlord, as a text supplement to my video tutorial.
This is a beginner recipe, assuming you are doing things in batches. I personally don't like to paint this way, but it's the most efficient way to put an army together.
My first attempt at recording and refining my method for a model type. This was my test model for the 2024 Kill Team starter set Plague Marines, and I was happy with the results. I'm still quite a new painter, and I got a result I was happy with, so I thought this might be quite a beginner-friendly tutorial. With any luck, there'll also be a gain in quality between this lad and whenever I finish off the box.
