Here I'll detail my process on painting the 5 alternate Necron Dynasties in my video - Szarekhan, Nihilakh, Mephrit, Thokt and Ogdobekh. I'll just be covering the main differences, things like weapon casing won't be covered.
These Plague Marines have a techno-virus/cyberpunk vibe.
I wanted a quick way of getting the Nachmund scenery done and Vince Venturella came through right on time. I pretty much followed his "9 Tips for Popping Grimdark Terrain - HC 339" YouTube video for this, but have recorded my steps so I can follow again when I get to the box.

This is my take on the Eightscarred warband colour scheme featured in the Khorne Daemonkin codex from 7th Ed. 40k.
The main colours are dark red, black, and brass with silver elements added to the metallic areas.

This is my take on Necrotales.com ‘s Blue Crab color scheme. I really love the organic look that he achieved.
The main difference is that my recipe uses Citidal’s washes rather than mixing custom ones from paints. The original scheme was created before the premixed washes were available, so I figure he would take advantage of them if they had been available.
My version is a bit simpler with fewer steps on the main flesh parts. Even so, there are quite a few steps which can test your limits when batch painting a unit of 40 hormagaunts.
How I paint my Nighthaunt armies
Used on pauldron trim and accessories. The technique for highlights is starting from the center of the highlight use thin lines going across. As you move away from the highlight leave greater and greater space between each line showing the base coat or previous highlight layer showing.
A quick guide showing how I built and painted my simple bamboo forest. I plan to use this for games like 'Test of Honour' and 'Ronin', but they could be used for anything, really.
