I initially used this recipe as part of my Ork Shanty Town guide, but liked it enough to make it a stand alone recipe. I could see this being used in lots of circumjstances, specifically Pallid Hand Death Guard Marines.
Based largely upon the method of JuanHidalgo Miniatures in his 'Eavy Contrast Marines video, but relying less upon actual contrast paints, this is how I painted the freehand on this miniature.

This is the process I used for painting these Poxwalkers for Blackstone Fortress, but it could easily be applied to other undead creatures. When it comes to playing around with washes in the final steps, don't be afraid to play around with placement. the main aim is to build up contrast in recesses and add lots of different tones to the flesh.
This is my take on the classic Word Bearers colour scheme. I added black shoulder pads to denote his Veteran status.
