A guide on how I paint my Imperial fists space marines.
This started as a pure "How to paint Sassy Nurgling" guide, but he had far too many cute little mates to leave it there. Enjoy! Whilst I tend to remove them from my Death Guard miniatures, I really appreciate the sculpts and will happily paint them separately.
Here is how I painted the Outlaw Gang. I decided to keep them largely monochrome with a splash of read, to give them all a uniform feel and make them easily identifiable. There is some pretty blatant inspiration taken from pop culture here, rather than historical accuracy.
Very budget and battle ready version of gray urban-like color scheme for basic Astra Militarum troops.
(mainly recorded for myself so I don't forget the paints and paint order :v)
Adaptation of the 'Eavy Metal team's painting guide for Tiamet using Army Painter Speedpaints.
The original guide was posted in this article:

I've really enjoyed trying out Speedpaints with this scheme and highly recommend them. Dropper bottles, preloaded agitators and the price point make these an excellent contrast alternative.
A note on the two used, they are both from the 2.0 range so I will update the tutorial to reflect this better when support is added. Lizardfolk Cyan is a great match for Incubi Darkness, and Moonlake Coral is similar to Sigvald Burgundy but much pinker.
I will add step-by-step images when I start my next model!
Painting guide for death guard, specifically used for the Plague Marine Kill Team
These recipes are all based on a wonderful PDF created by Lawrence Coxon and posted to The Barons' War Facebook Group. I found the PDF linked from Andy Hobday's excellent "Painting the Past: Uniforms in the High Medieval Period" post on his site, if you wanted to see the original images.
I built this model using the Mounted Knights (1150-1320) plastic kit from Wargames Atlantic, exclusively. My aim with this guide is to leave you with a nice playable character from the "Dramatis Personae" section in the back of The Barons' War Second edition book and pay homage to the Footsore Miniatures model also available.
This recipe is designed to get close to the box art and is based completely off of GW tutorials and color schemes. An extensive range of Citadel paints are used in this process.
