Duncan's method for painting WWII Tanks
This is my take on the classic Word Bearers colour scheme. I added black shoulder pads to denote his Veteran status.
Based largely upon the method of JuanHidalgo Miniatures in his 'Eavy Contrast Marines video, but relying less upon actual contrast paints, this is how I painted the freehand on this miniature.
I wanted a quick way of getting the Nachmund scenery done and Vince Venturella came through right on time. I pretty much followed his "9 Tips for Popping Grimdark Terrain - HC 339" YouTube video for this, but have recorded my steps so I can follow again when I get to the box.
Gotta go fast! This recipe tries to focus on speed and being achievable while still looking nice. The focus is on creating contrast between the light pale skin, and darker leathers and other materials.
