This model was painted to be the "Technomancer" for my Hierotek Circle Kill Team. I tried to walk the line between the traditional Sautekh Dynasty colour scheme and the more characterful paint job from the box.
The bronzed halls of the Gallowdark Space Hulk, millennia have turned it's once dark golden walls into a claustrophobic verdigris maze of lost Imperial Technology.
Here is my method for producing these tuft heavy bases. These were originally intended to be jungle bases, and could still be if you introduced some fern tufts. The aim was to get good looking bases that were busy and really pumped up the quality of the quick paint job.
How I painted my Gun Servitor for my Inquisitorial Agents Kill Team. I wanted an increased amount of vibrancy in the armour, which I think turned out well. The basic colour composition in the same as the box art though.

Viking warriors painted in a variety of colors. The main principle is to highlight on a upward fashion. The first highlight is only applied from the waist to the head and the second only in the face, hair and shoulders. Most of the colors are highlighted with a desaturaded version of themselves to get a slight washed out appearance.
